Fiber Coupled Laser

All SLOC Lasers can be fiber coupled as you require. You also have  to refer to the detailed specs of the laser modules (such as power, stability, noise, size, etc) to decide which laser you choose for fiber coupling.

Notes:
  • The customer has to calculate the laser output power before fiber coupling according to the coupling efficiency. For example, if you want the laser power of 100mW from a 100µm fiber, you should choose a 200mW laser module due to the 50% coupling efficiency.
  • The customer has to pay the additional fee for fiber coupling work. For above example, you have to pay the total fee of (200mW laser system + fiber +fiber installing work).

SLOC can supply specialty optical fiber for laser coupling. Our products include single-mode fiber and multi-mode fiber for all our existing laser modules from visible to near IR transmission.
